a hundred aces just finished recording sophomore release

In 2014, I set out to finally record a total of 15 songs for "or something like that," the title of my newest CD. I was in session at Lunch Box Studio over a span of about three years recording the collection of tunes mostly written from mid-90s to the mid-2000s. I know, they should've been recorded 10 years ago.

The drums were tracked over two days in September 2014 and I had the pleasure of working with Dylan Hallacy who is a fantastic drummer and recorded the tracks. Bass tracks were recorded over two sessions just after the drum tracks and with that the songs really started to take shape. Like the songs on Late Bloomer, they are a similar rock/pop style and were fun to record. I then recorded the guitar parts, then vocals, then laid down other parts such as keyboard, harmonica and anything else I decided to use. I again utilized the superior services of David Franklin at his Lunchbox Studio, who engineered my first cd Late Bloomer.

Support Our Troops

I'd like to take this opportunity to honor all of the troops serving in our military and armed forces. Please know that you are America's finest. And if you received a complimentary cd in a care package, please enjoy the music. It is the very least I can do. You all have done so very much for us. God bless you all.

Here's another opportunity on this website to promote the debut release

...or something like that...

...is the title of my newest CD. Doesn't make sense to you? That's why I named it as such. Have you ever heard people end a sentence with "or something like that" when they don't quite know how to coherently put words into proper context? I guess that's what I mean with this title. At any rate, it is set to be release on January 22, 2018. Like the debut release it contains 15 songs and was engineered, mixed and mastered by David Franklin at Lunch Box Studio.
